Laundry tricks for dark clothes and heat days

Tampa heat is not forgiving. I need advice on dark clothes, odor control, and fabrics that do not look ruined after two hours outside.

Athletic undershirts under normal clothes are still my best trick.

I feel this so hard — Columbus humidity in late August is basically a swamp, so I can only imagine Tampa. I live in dark tees and navy cardigans because light colors show sweat immediately, but then I'm stuck with the odor buildup Amber mentioned.

My weird little system: I rinse underarms with cold water right when I get home, before the sweat dries into the fabric. Then I wash darks on cold with an enzyme detergent (the ones meant for workout stuff). I also started buying secondhand dark linen-blend shirts — linen looks intentionally rumpled, so a little dampness just... blends in? Way better than structured cotton that goes slick and clings.

For labs, I keep a black Uniqlo Airism tee in my bag. Thin enough to layer under anything, dries fast, doesn't look like an "athletic undershirt" situation if someone sees a strap. Still working up the courage to try Amber's full undershirt method on dates though — afraid it'll read as "I expected to sweat this much," which... true, but don't wanna lead with that, you know?

Anyone found a deodorant/antiperspirant that doesn't leave white streaks on black? That's my current nemesis.
