@Camila totally agree — the clinical stuff makes me shut down fast. I'd actually read a tips page if it quoted someone like @Riah saying how they handled telling a date, or what shirt fabric trick someone swore by in a thread. Makes it feel like advice from a friend who's been there, not a pamphlet.
Also seconding @Riah on dating — not swiping, just... existing in that space without the panic. I've ghosted apps before because I couldn't imagine explaining my hand sweat before a first coffee. A tag or section for that would've kept me from just giving up.
@Tessa's point about active conversations feels right too. I lurk way less when threads are moving and I can see someone my age actually replying. Maybe new member browsing could surface people who've posted recently in topics you care about? I'd actually message someone if I saw we both were sweating through lab notebooks or whatever.
